2004 Toyota Tundra Ac Light Blinking

AC light is on in cab and AC will not cut on.

2004 toyota tundra ac light blinking. After depressing my AC button the compressor clutch kicks in for a second or two and the AC light starts blinking and the clutch releases. I turned it off and checked it out today when the motor was cooled off. If the AC light flashes make sure the magnetic pickup inside the compressor is still in place.

Sometimes they can fall out. There is a sensor built into the compressor that is supposed to determine whether or not there is a problem with the drive belt or internally in the air conditioning compressor. The blinking of the AC switch ON green lamp indicates a problem within the AC system exists.
