2001 Toyota Tundra Battery Light On

So I went with a used for 150 lol.

The battery light comes on when it detects that the voltage in the battery is too low. I have a full charge on the battery and have cleaned the corroded terminals hoping this was the problem. Hooked up a volt meter to the battery and it read 1419V while running and then luckily the battery light came on again and noticed the voltage dropped from 1419V to 119V all within 5 minuted or so.
