2000 Toyota Tundra Charcoal Canister Location

Discussion Starter 7 May 6 2017. Genuine Toyota Charcoal Vapor Canister Assembly. I checked around the fuel tank and I see nothing that looks like the charcoal canister although I read on one forum that its on top fuel tank.

2000 toyota tundra charcoal canister location. All fit 2000-2021 Toyota Tundra and more. Got word that its definitely the charcoal canister. Only 2 left in stock - order soon.

Location of charcoal canister on 2000 SR5 V6. Im not sure what year it changed but the 2000 Tundras both V6 and V8 have the EVAP charcoal cannister located on the drivers side front fender right in front of the brake booster and along side the brake master cylinder. The charcoal canister seldom fails and should last the life of the car.

From the way things look I highly doubt its on top of the tank. My truck is a 2010 with 44k miles. According to the TSD if all 5 of these codes are pulled Toyota would replace the charcoal canister if you are under 336.

Pretty sure the thing your looking for the vsvis the red thing with two hoses attached to it the thing you pulled out is the air intake temp sensor. Order Online or Call 866-596-1970. If you dont have the money to replace the canister I wouldnt recommend doing this as it is easy to damage.
