05 Toyota Tundra 4.7 Tow

The Tundra is available with one of two engines.

05 toyota tundra 4.7 tow. We will be traveling from California to Yellowstone National Park. Looking at getting a new to me truck. I have a 2008 Toyota Tundra 57L Double Cab 2WD 6 12 bed.

Power to pull ok. I need to weigh the trailer now that I have it loaded to see where I am at. Tows it great and gets about 9mpg.

I will need it to haul a 1982 toyota 4x4 rockcrawler to various offroad parks on the east coast. A 40-liter245-horse V-6 shared with the Tacoma and 4Runner and a 47-liter282-horse V-8 thats also found in the Sequoia. Need some input.

Found a 2006 Tundra 4x4 Access cab 47 auto wtow package 91K miles in very good shape for a decent price. The trailer is 7600 gvwr and the towing capacity is 7600. I also have the 06 Tunra wthe 47 - towing a 05 27 Zeppelin wslide dry wt 4700.

This is a great forum. I was reading through the thread if anyone else has posted with a similar truck but didnt find it. Its overall length is 31 Thinking of trading to slide in truckcamper would like to tow boat.

I have an 05 4 door limited 2wd with the 47 and tow a 28 ft travel trailer with it. It out tows my wifes armada. HiIs the Toyota Tundra 47L V8 with max towing of 6800 lbs big enough to pull a 2008 Starcraft Antigua 235SBSwhich has a GVWR of 5000 lbs and and Unloaded vehicle weight of 3700 lbs.
